Women's Soccer Opens Season With Win at Albion
Buffalo State (1-0) opened the 2005 campaign with a 2-1 win at Albion today.
Kelsie Moran (Albany/Albany) tallied the Bengals' first goal of the season. Liz Jacobsen (Gresham, OR/Sam Barlow) extended Buffalo State's lead to 2-0 with an assist from Gina Monaco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) later in the opening half. Albion added a second-half goal, but the Bengals held on for the victory.
Buffalo State will continue its Michigan road trip tomorrow with a game at Olivet at 12 p.m.
