Women's Soccer Player Gina Monaco
Women's soccer player Gina Monaco(Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The senior elementary education major has helped lead Buffalo State to its longest unbeaten streak in school history at six games, including a 4-0-1 start to this season. This week, Monaco had two assists in a 3-1 win at RIT, and then scored three goals in a 9-0 blowout at Penn State Altoona on Saturday.
Monaco was one of four Bengals named to the Penn State Altoona All-Tournament Team.
