Women's Soccer Races Past Morrisville, 7-0
BUFFALO, NY—Freshman Barb Kiliszek (Depew/Lancaster) recorded her first collegiate hat trick as Buffalo State (4-7/2-3) raced past Morrisville (0-11-1/0-5), 7-0, in a SUNYAC game today at Towers Field.
Buffalo State peppered the Mustangs goal, finishing with a 38-4 advantage in shots. Kelsie Moran (Albany/Albany) also scored twice for the Bengals, while Mindy Wendt (Sanborn/Starpoint) and Madeline Morosey (N. Collins/N. Collins) each added a single marker for Buffalo State. Emily McKinnon (Kenmore/Kenmore West) and Savannah Filbin (Vestal/Vestal) also picked up assists for the Bengals.
Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) needed to make just three saves in goal to earn the shutout. Morrisville’s Katie Tiffany (DeRuyter/DeRuyter) recorded 17 saves.
Buffalo State will travel to Cortland on Friday for a 4 p.m. contest.
