Women's Swimmer Mindy Wood
Women's swimmer Mindy Wood (Middlesex/Marcus Whitman) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.
The freshman distance specialist started the week by winning the 1650 free and the 500 free in a dual meet against Fredonia on Tuesday. She also swam a leg of the 400 free relay that touched first. She continued her run of success on Saturday against Division II Gannon with a win in the 1000 free and a second place showing in the 500 free.
