The women's track sprinters Anika Niles (Brooklyn/ Samuel J. Tilden), Katya Marin (Mt. Vernon/ Mt. Vernon), Latoya D. Edwards (Brooklyn/ Clara Barton) and Taniqua Hollingsworth (Buffalo/East) were named the Buffalo State Athletes of the Week. The foursome won the 4x100-meter relay with a school record and NCAA provisional time of 48.05, 1.63 seconds ahead of the next closest team.
