Women's Volleyball Cruises to Pair of Wins
CAZENOVIA, NY--Buffalo State (6-22) earned a pair of victories today, defeating host Cazenovia, 3-1, and sweeping Alfred, in two non-confernence matches.
Buffalo State bettered Cazenovia, 30-28, 30-28, 27-30 and 30-24. Jessica Guadagno (N. Collins/N. Collins) led the Bengals with nine kills and five aces. Allison Suttell (Batavia/Batavia) added 37 assists and 18 digs.
The Bengals defeated Alfred in the second match, 30-11, 30-27 and 30-21. Katelyn Grew (Lackawanna/Mt. Mercy) had 11 kills and five aces, and Ashley Ray (Grand Island/Grand Island) added seven kills.
Buffalo State will next host Pitt-Bradford on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
