BUFFALO--Buffalo State (0-10) suffered a three-game defeat at the hands of visiting Penn State Behrend (7-2), 30-16, 30-16 and 30-21, in a non-conference match to open its home schedule tonight at the Sports Arena.

Lauren Palisano (Buffalo/Holy Angels) led Buffalo State with six kills. Maria Schaffstall (Elma/Iroquois) added 16 digs, and Allison Suttell (Batavia/Batavia) had 18 assists.

Buffalo State will next compete at the New Paltz Invitational this Friday and Saturday.
