Women's Volleyball Ends Season With Pair of Losses
Buffalo State concluded its season today, dropping a pair of three-game matches at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational, losing to Elizabethtown and Lycoming.
In the opening match, Elizabethtown prevailed by scores of 30-14, 30-26 and 30-15. Lauren Wright (Westfield/Westfield) recorded 20 assists for the Bengals, and Lauren Clark (W. Seneca/Mt. Mercy) added five kills and seven digs.
Lycoming earned the victory in the final match, 30-21, 30-23 and 30-18. Wright tallied 23 assists, six digs and five blocks to lead the Bengals. Kristen Scheffold (Lancaster/Lancaster) chipped in 16 digs, and Clark recorded six kills and seven digs.
Buffalo State finished the year with a mark of 6-28.
