Women's Volleyball Ends Season on Sour Note

Buffalo State wrapped up its season this weekend at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational and dropped all three matches to finish the year 14-23.

In yesterday's opener the host school beat the Bengals 30-11, 30-18 and 30-28. Sam Damstetter (W. Seneca East) recorded nine kills and two blocks.

In the nightcap, the Bengals fell to Susquehanna, 30-21, 22-30, 22-30 and 16-30. Vicky Manos (Cheektowaga) tallied 19 kills and two aces, and Krista Wierzbicki (Maryvale) had 39 assists.

Buffalo State finished its season today against Allegany, falling 19-30, 27-30 and 27-30. Manos (Cheektowaga) had 16 kills Denise Jedynak (Frontier) recorded 10 digs.

Buffalo State finishes season 14-23 overall.
