Women's Volleyball Falls to Pitt-Bradford
BUFFALO, NY— Buffalo State (6-23) closed out the home portion of its 2007 season tonight, dropping a three-game decision to visiting Pitt-Bradford (13-6) in a non-conference match at the Sports Arena.
Pitt-Bradford defeated Buffalo, 18-30, 20-30 and 22-30. Katelyn Grew (Lackawanna/Mt. Mercy) led the Bengals with seven kills and seven blocks. Maria Schaffstall (Elma/Iroquois) had 16 digs and Allison Suttell (Batavia/Batavia) dished out 21 assists and recorded three service aces.
Buffalo State will travel to Fredonia this weekend for the second round of SUNYAC Pool Play.
