Women's Volleyball Falls to Pitt-Bradford, 3-1
Buffalo State (0-10) won the opening game of its home opener against Pitt-Bradford tonight, but could not hang on as it lost 3-1.
Buffalo State opened the match with a 30-27, but dropped the next three games, 29-31, 23-30 and 25-30. Nicole Gurski (E. Amherst/Williamsville North) had 37 assists and eight digs. Jen Breier (Grand Island/Grand Island) had 14 kills and 13 digs. Sam Damstetter (Amherst/Sweet Home) had 26 digs, and Keri Bumgardner (Babylon/W. Babylon) added 12 kills.
Buffalo State will travel to the RIT Invite this weekend.
