Women's Volleyball Swept at North Country Invitational
POTSDAM, NY--Buffalo State (0-9) remained winless on the season, dropping its final two matches at the North Country Invitational today, losing in straight game to Russell Sage and Plattsburgh.
In the first game, Sage defeated the Bengals, 30-20, 30-20 and 30-9. Jennifer McGowan (Batavia/Batavia) registered 11 digs and an ace.
In the second match, Plattsburgh topped Buffalo State 30-22, 30-16 and 30-23. McGowan had six kills and six digs. Paige Kaiser (Grand Island/Hammondsport) added 10 digs and three aces.
Buffalo State will open its home schedule on Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Penn State Behrend.
