Wooster Blanks Women's Soccer, 4-0
WOOSTER, Ohio--The College of Wooster (4-0) peppered the visiting Buffalo State (1-3) goal with 24 shots and cruised to a 4-0 victory today in a non-conference match.
The Scots outshot the Bengals 14-2 in the opening period and led just 1-0 at the intermission with a goal in the 29th minute. Wooster would continue its pressure in the final 45 minutes, exploding for three second-half goals. The Scots finished with a 24-6 advantage in shots.
Buffalo State's Meghan Jarrell (Hamburg/Hamburg) made 10 saves in her first start.
Buffalo State will play at Oberlin tomorrow at 1 p.m.
